Goa is located on the west coast of the Indian Peninsula. It is bounded on the north by the Terekhal River which separates Goa from Maharashtra and on the south by the northern Kanara district of Karnataka. To the east is the Western Ghats and to the west is the Arabian Sea.

It has its only airport (Dabolim) by train and can be reached by many buses connected to Indian cities (mainly Mumbai, Mangalore, and Bangalore). Also, if you are traveling from Mumbai or Pune, car travel will provide you with a tour through the breathtaking views of the Conakry region.
